Ayahuasca ceremonies take place in the maloca on site at El Purguero, surrounded by the lush Amazon rainforest
The ceremony takes place in our maloca. A ceremony usually starts around 7 pm and goes for between 3 and 4 hrs. Ron was trained in a very strict traditional way and conducts his ceremonies as he was taught. This means no sleeping or lying down during ceremony. We ask participants to remain silent and seated, unless they need to use the toilet outside. We have people available to help you to the toilet if necessary. Purge bowls are provided. Ron prefers to work with a dirt floor to be able to connect directly with the earth.
